Track your VA claims from your browser

Valor Claim Tracker watches VA.gov, alerts you when a claim changes, and reads your decision letters to find fixable denials — without refreshing VA.gov 20 times a day.

What it does

Everything runs on-device

Read from your own logged-in VA.gov session — no password, nothing stored on our servers unless you ask.

Claim phase timeline

See where each claim sits across all 8 phases — including when it's with the National Work Queue.

Action-needed alerts

Flagged the moment VA requests evidence from you, so a development letter never runs out the clock.

Background change alerts

A desktop notification and a toolbar badge when a claim moves or a decision letter posts.

Reads your decision letter

Pulls it from VA.gov and pinpoints any condition denied for lack of a medical nexus — the fixable kind.

Keeps letters on file

Saved to your free Valor account for your current rating and future claims. Optional auto-save, off by default.

2026 compensation calculator

Combined-rating math with spouse and dependents — the real value of your rating.

Your data stays on your device

The extension reads your claims through your existing logged-in VA.gov session — it never asks for or stores your password. Your claim data stays on your device and leaves it only when you explicitly choose to analyze, import, or read a decision letter with Valor (or turn on optional auto-sync, which is off by default).

Common questions

Is the extension free?

Yes. The Valor Claim Tracker extension is completely free, and the Valor account it saves your letters to has a free tier. No credit card required.

Do I need a Valor account to use it?

No. Claim tracking and alerts work on their own. A free Valor account is only needed to save decision letters on file or bring your conditions into Valor — and the extension includes a one-step “create a free account” path.

Is my VA data safe?

Your claim data stays on your device by default and is read through your own logged-in VA.gov session — the extension never sees your password. Data leaves your device only when you explicitly act.

Which browsers are supported?

Any Chromium-based desktop browser — Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Brave all install from the Chrome Web Store.
